June 2, 2022Cavalli’s Cremello 2021 has won recognition as one of the ten best wines in this year’s Prescient Cape White Blend Report.
26 producers entered 27 wines for the report, which evaluates the best the niche Cape White Blend wine category offers. Each wine was blind tasted by a judging panel of renowned wine experts who ultimately ranked each one according to its distinct merits.
The Cremello 2021 was awarded an astounding 91 out of 100 points, decisively giving it a place among South Africa’s 10 best Cape White Blends.

This momentous win is yet another accolade to the Cremello’s growing list of awards which includes:

This 2021 vintage joins the award-winning trajectory of the Cremello 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020. These older vintages have proven themselves as unmatched white blends establishing this flagship white blend as a worthy purchase for your wine rack.
An exquisite blend of Chenin blanc, Chardonnay, Verdelho and Viognier, the Cremello 2021 has a rich and broad palate with moderate acidity and a gently savoury finish. Aged for 12 months in selected French oak, it boasts complex aromatics of ripe white and yellow fruit, dried flowers, honeysuckle and vanilla with subtle notes of spice from the wood.
