As the chill of winter settles in, we’re thrilled to unveil our latest culinary creations at Cavalli Estate. With a steadfast commitment to sourcing locally from ethical and sustainable suppliers, our winter menu is a testament to our dedication to quality and flavour.

Under the innovative direction of Head Chef Lucas Carstens, our kitchen team draws inspiration from the bounties of the sea and the richness of nature. Local foraged wild foods infuse every dish with a sense of adventure and authenticity. Prepare to indulge in a symphony of flavours with our hearty yet elegantly presented offerings. From enticing starters to mouthwatering mains and delectable sides.

Kickstart your dining experience with tantalising snacks like carrot, black garlic, macadamia & gougères, followed by the comforting warmth of freshly baked bread and herb butter. Dive into our selection of starters, featuring delicacies such as oysters with fynbos vinaigrette or butternut with langoustine and smoked fishbone velouté.

For the main event, sustainable fish accompanied by “strandspinasie” and warm tartar sauce, or indulge in a risotto of arugula with smoked snoek and bee pollen. Meat lovers can savor the succulence of lamb with ancient grains and whole lemon or the melt-in-your-mouth wagyu short rib with Swiss chard.

Complete your culinary journey with sides like potato rosti with herb & mustard mayo or fired cabbage & padron peppers with sea vegetables. Each dish is thoughtfully crafted to harmonize flavours and textures, leaving you craving for more.

Dine from our a la carte menu or alternatively enjoy our chefs set menu. 5 Courses at the cost of R725 per person. Vegetarian option is available for R695 per person.

The cut off times for the chef set menu is at 13h30 for lunch and 19h30 for dinner.
